The Makita DBO180Z is a compact and lightweight cordless random orbital sander, powered by 18V Li-ion LXT batteries (sold separately). Its low-profile design with a reduced center of gravity improves balance and maneuverability, making it ideal for both overhead and precise detail work.
Equipped with a simple one-touch electronic switch, the DBO180Z offers 3-speed settings (low, medium, high), delivering orbital speeds of 7,000, 9,500, and 11,000 OPM for versatile sanding performance. The 2.8mm random orbital stroke ensures fast material removal while maintaining a smooth, swirl-free finish.
For added control and safety, the sander includes a pad control system that gradually increases pad speed at start-up, and a pad brake that minimizes spin-down time. The dust-sealed switch and bearings enhance durability, and the efficient through-the-pad dust collection system helps maintain a cleaner workspace.
The DBO180Z is compatible with Makita dust extractors without needing an adapter, making it easy to integrate into your dust management setup.
